“Are there charging points in cafes, trains etc”
Taxis and bullet trains may have charging spaces, but cafes don’t have many charging spots. There’s a cafe called Tully’s that has a lot of tables where you can charge. If you don’t have a plug that’s compatible with Japan’s voltage, I recommend going to Seven-Eleven and buying Anker’s plug charger. It costs around 1000 yen and has the best quality. If you have one, I recommend bringing a portable battery in your luggage to Japan.
