Nikko is better if you enjoy nature, hot springs, and waterfalls. The area is full of beautiful forests and famous sites like Toshogu Shrine.

Both places are full of things to see, and even though one day might not be enough to see everything, you’ll still enjoy the trip. Nagoya might not be as exciting for a short visit, so you can skip it.
