How to Use a Sento

Step by step:

  1. Pay at entrance (often a coin machine)
  2. Go to locker room (gender separated)
  3. Undress completely
  4. Take small towel to washing area
  5. Wash thoroughly before entering bath
  6. Enter bath and relax
  7. Rinse off, dry, dress

Important: Wash completely before getting in the bath!


What to Bring
